PROJECT NAME: Green River Road & Quarry Access Road

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The UT FTNP DINO 10(3)100(2), Green River Road and Quarry Access Road project is in Dinosaur National Monument approximately 16.9 miles east of the Vernal, Utah and 114.1 west of Craig, Colorado. The project is proposing to rehabilitate (3R) roads and parking lots. Additional work includes pavement preservation on routes within Dinosaur National Monument in the Utah and Colorado entrances. The project is broken up into one schedule with four options.

SCOPE OF THE WORK:  Due to deterioration that is typical of aging pavement, Schedule A is proposing to rehabilitate (3R) approximately 2.35 miles of road, multiple pullouts, and two parking lots. The existing pavement section on both roadways are in poor condition with roadway cracking and aggregate surfacing. Options T, U, V, and W is proposing pavement preservation of 50.4 miles of roadways within Dinosaur National Monument in Utah and Colorado. This pavement preservation work will include crack sealing, asphalt patching, micro sealing, and chip sealing.
