STATEMENT OF WORK

Acquisition of Cellphones for INL Operations

Introduction

The Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) - Ecuador, requires the acquisition of new cellphone devices.  The mobile devices are essential to ensure the efficient management of communication tools, information access, and monitoring services used in field operations. The new devices will enable more effective access to specialized applications and secure communication services, as well as contribute to enhancing the operational capabilities of the office in combating drug trafficking and organized crime.

This acquisition aims to ensure that office personnel have access to modern and reliable technology to effectively carry out their tasks and meet the security and law enforcement objectives set by INL in collaboration with international partners.

  1. Purpose and Objectives 
    1. Purpose:   Acquire cellphones that meet the specific needs of the team, ensuring compatibility with the applications and systems used by the office.
    2. Objective 1:  To enhance the operational efficiency of the INL activities through the acquisition of new cellphone devices, ensuring seamless daily operations and improving communication and coordination among team members.
  2. Deliverables
    1. Warranty: The Vendor must provide a minimum one-year warranty for all items, starting from the delivery and acceptance of the equipment at the end user's location. The warranty must be identical to that offered by the original manufacturer and fully valid in Ecuador.
    2. Estimated delivery time for this request:  The delivery must occur within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date of the purchase order.
  3. Requirements
    1. The description and technical details of the required equipment are specified in Annex A of this document.
    2. All items must be new, unopened, and must meet or exceed the specifications detailed. Refurbished, used, or recycled items are not acceptable.
    3. The phones must be the LATAM version.

Equipment and service will be delivered in Quito -Ecuador – INCOTERM DDP (Door to Door – Delivery Duty Paid). 

The mobile devices must be delivered to Quito, Ecuador, at the INL Office, located within the U.S. Embassy.
