The changes made in Amendment 2 are outlined below.

1. Contractors are reminded of the requirement to submit a safety plan in accordance with section IV or the PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) STATIC AIRCRAFT RESTORATION (Pages 7 -23).
2. Two attachments were added to the solicitation. AFI 84-103, 8.3, Air Force Heritage Program, and T.O.1-4-4, Exterior Finishes, Insignia, and Markings Applications to USAF Aircraft.
3. A revised version of the PWS is attached. PWS Hill Static Aircraft Restoration - January 2025 - Version 2. Version 2 of the PWS corrected an error on page 5 which incorrectly stated, “Corrosion control, repair, and painting processes combined shall not exceed four weeks in duration for any aircraft.” And changed it to “Corrosion control, repair, and painting processes combined shall not exceed three months in duration for any aircraft.”  Please note, the winning contractor will have up

The changes made in Amendment 1 are outlined below. 

1. A site visit is now being offered. The site visit will take place on Thursday, 30 January at 1:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time. The site visit will take place at the Hill Aerospace Museum, 7961 Cottonwood St Building 1955, Hill AFB, UT 84056. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number FA8201-24-Q-M001 is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition 2025-02, 03 January 2025. and its supplements.

All proposals will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Award will be made to the offeror who submits the lowest-priced proposal that meets the minimum technical requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other solicitation documents.
