DoDEA requires comprehensive Pre-K-12 education program services and special education services to be provided in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations including DoD Instruction 1342.12 Provision of Early Intervention and Special Education Services to Eligible DoD Dependents, June 17, 2015. Services shall include special education programs for eligible Hanscom AFB dependents who are 3-21 years of age in all appropriate settings. There are approximately 525 eligible Pre-K-8 dependents of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel residing on Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. The requirement includes providing food service, grounds maintenance, building maintenance, and student transportation services.
