The Minneapolis VAMC requires chiller maintenance and inspection services in accordance with the draft Statement of Work (SOW) below. This is a sources sought/proof of capability solicitation looking for vendors to perform the services per the SOW for market research purposes. No awards of a contract will be made from this announcement. If you are a vendor that can complete the work described in the SOW with competitive pricing, please send your contact and organization information with a description of proof of capability to: Jeffrey.Brown8@va.gov on or before March 14th, 2025. Only emailed responses will be considered. Additionally, please provide answers as appropriate to the following questions in the table below with your response to this sources sought. Failure to respond to the following questions may affect the acquisition strategy. 1. Identify your organization's socio-economic category. 2. Requesting a Base year plus four option years (5 years total). Provide service parts and labor for end of season preventative maintenance services. All repair parts will meet manufacture s Specifications. Service to include maintaining York Variable Speed drive including replaced with OEM York Inhibitor annually. Preventative Maintenance Program includes: Seasonal Start Up Seasonal Shut down / End of season preventative maintenance. Oil Analysis. Oil and filter changes. Vibration Analysis on Circulating Pumps (Annually). Vibration Analysis on Cooling towers (Annually). Calibrate differential pressure sensors (Annually). Calibrate Flow Sensors (Annually). Condenser Tube Brushing- (Chillers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 - Annually) Evaporator Tube Brushing (every 3 years) Due FY 28 Eddy current testing (every 3 years) Due FY 28 chiller (Seasonal shut down). (see appendix A for details) Seasonal startup and shut down dates vary year to year depending on the weather conditions in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Typically, startup is in May and shut down is done in September. Exact dates will be coordinated with contractor each season in advance. Provide a service report to the Energy Plant Supervisor and the HVAC Shop Supervisor for each service completed. Provide any recommendations for necessary repairs or enhancements to maintain capacity, reliability, and efficiency. The written reports shall be submitted to the VAHCS Energy Center and HVAC Shop Supervisor within 10 calendar days after service is complete. Contractor must be able to properly troubleshoot and diagnose all aspects of chiller system failures. Technician s Supervisor shall provide the MVAHCS with a written statement and itemized quote assess
