Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland Ohio, 44106 is conducting market research to locate contractors who provide Trauma Scene Cleanup Services. **PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A NEW SYSTEMS ACQUISITIONS. ALREADY OWNED BY THE LOUIS STOKES CLEVELAND VA MEDICAL CENTER** The NAICS Code is 562910 Remediation Services. In response, please provide at minimum: Company name and address, POC information, System for Award Management (SAM) UEI number, Socioeconomic category (SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, 8a, Small Business or Large Business). GSA contract number if these services are offered on Federal Supply Schedule. Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. Title of project: Trauma and Crime Scene Clean Up Contract Purpose of the project: VA Northeast Ohio Health Care system is looking to procure as needed services for Trauma/Crime scene Clean-up when needed for the entire Louis Stokes Cleveland VAMC health care system. Background: Following a suicide, violent death, or severe accident, the removal of biohazardous materials, such as blood, human remains (tissue and bone fragments), and other contaminants, must occur on varied surfaces. The clean-up and decontamination of these locations is called trauma scene clean-up (also referred to as crime scene clean-up*). These are general terms used to describe the cleaning of blood, human remains, or any biohazardous material following an incident that results in environmental contamination. A Trauma or crime scene event includes but not limited to any or all the following situations as determined by the COR. Suicide Murder Murder/Suicide Traumatic amputation of a limb or appendage Gun Shot Wounds Excessive head trauma Stab wounds Explosive defecation covering a wide surface area as determined by COR Illicit narcotics and residues from Illicit Narcotics (i.e. Fentanyl). Blood or bodily fluids covering a wide surface area as determined by COR Large spills of Hazardous drugs, materials, or waste products Small spills of Hazardous drugs, materials, or waste products that have contaminated multiple areas within the health facility.
