Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES SOUGHT/RFI DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339112 (size standard of 1,000 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing bladder scanners with printers that, at a minimum, meets the brand name and/or can possibly provide an equal-to product for the VA Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Manufacturer: Medline Item Description: BioCon 750 Bladder Scanner with printer Quantity: 3 Equal to product Information: Main component: Bladder Scanner with Printer Salient Characteristics for Bladder Scanner with Printer Must be a 3-D ultrasound device Must be able to provide non-invasive measurements of bladder volume and post-void urinary retention Must be able to provide real-time pre-scans in order to view the bladder before performing the test Must have a built-in printer with the capability to facilitate immediate documentation to a chart Must have the ability to change between 3 modes: child, male and female Must have a full color touch screen The list of salient characteristics is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, of the supplies/services that are required.
