This Sources Sought Notice is intended for information and planning purposes only at this time; and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Because this is a Sources Sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of providing Floor Scrubbers. The Floor Equipment will be delivered to the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center, located in Pittsburgh, PA 15215. 1.0 CONTRACT DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, one-time delivery order for the purchase of (4) Ride-On floor scrubbers. 1.1 PRODUCT PRICING The Offeror shall submit price quotes for the required brand name equipment or equivalent, to the specifications listed in Section 1.2 below. Please enclose the established price list and description of capabilities and specifications for the required equipment. The Offeror should include a description of any warranty information in the technical quote and be included within the Firm-Fixed Price. 1.2 REQUIRED PRODUCTS AND SPECIFICATIONS QTY PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 4 CT110BT70- Mid size commercial ride on scrubber REQUIRED SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Ride on scrubber with traction control. Minimum ability to scrub 40, 000 square feet/ hour. Minimum 29-gallon solution tank/30-gallon recovery tank 28-inch scrubbing width due to standard size hallways of VA Pittsburgh Facilities Min 2.5 hour run time per charge. Pre-programable work settings for supervision and productivity control Automatic solution and speed reduction on turns to reduce slip and fall hazards. Self-leveling brush system Squeegee system for excess water and soap pickup. On board charger Chemical control system VA requires AGM maintenance free batteries, for safety. Full access to internal components for user friendly maintenance Maximum 75-inch turning radius. Motor capability for a 16" climbing angle. The vendor will be expected to deliver the specific requirements noted above using a suitable carrier such as UPS Freight or Fed-Ex Freight. There is no installation or set up requirements for this contract. Delivery should be made in a timely manner once the contract is signed.
