Modification 10 – February 11, 2025

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Simulation and Advanced Software Services II (SASS II) 80JSC024SASS2, which was posted on May 07, 2024. You are notified that the following changes are made:

1. The Acquisition Milestone Schedule has been updated to the SASS II website at https://www.nasa.gov/johnson/jsc-procurement/sass2/.
2. The SASS II Technical Library has been updated.
3. The SASS II Final Request for Proposal (FRFP) has been posted under solicitation 80JSC025R7003 - Request for Proposal (RFP) for Simulation and Advanced Software Services II (SASS II). All information for the SASS II RFP can be found on Sam.gov and the SASS II website https://www.nasa.gov/johnson/jsc-procurement/sass2/. All future updates and information will be posted under solicitation 80JSC025R7003.

As a reminder, to request access to the SASS II Technical Library, individuals must provide a completed SASS II Technical Library Access Request Form to the Points of Contacts (POCs) listed in this notice. When responding, reference 80JSC024SASS2 Technical Library in the subject line.

OBTAINING ACCESS TO EXPORT CONTROLLED CONTENT:

To request access to the SASS II Technical Library, please complete the technical library request form in the "Attachments" section below. Once the technical library request form is submitted, please request access to all SASS II Technical Library zip folders in the "Attachments" section in Sam.gov. If approved, you will be granted access to all SASS II Technical Library zip documents.

The due date for responses is NOT extended.

Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).

Modification 9 – February 07, 2025

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Simulation and Advanced Software Services II (SASS II) 80JSC024SASS2, which was posted on May 07, 2024. You are notified that the following changes are made:

1. The SASS II Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) Questions and Answers (Q&A) are hereby posted in the attachments section.
2. The Interested Parties List has been updated as an attachment to this modification and will be added to the SASS II website.
3. The SASS II Technical Library has been updated to include the following documents:
   • SASS II Public Facing Applicable Document Links
   • Removal of the OMB-24-18 AI Acq Memo from the Technical Library
   • Removal of the OMB-M-24-10 AI Advancing Governance from the Technical Library

All updates have been posted on SAM.gov and the SASS II website at https://www.nasa.gov/johnson/jsc-procurement/sass2/.

Modification 8 – January 22, 2025

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Simulation and Advanced Software Services II (SASS II) 80JSC024SASS2, which was posted on May 07, 2024. You are notified that the following changes are made:

Removal of the SASS II Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Plan Data Requirements Description (DRD) and the associated DEIA Plan requirements throughout the SASS II DRFP.

This modification is performed in accordance with the following:

• White House Presidential Executive Orders titled “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing” and “Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions”, which repeal Executive Order 14035, “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce”, and
• OPM Memorandum titled “Initial Guidance Regarding DEIA Executive Orders,” dated January 21, 2025

The modification of DRFP and applicable documents are hereby posted on SAM.gov and the SASS II website at https://www.nasa.gov/johnson/jsc-procurement/sass2/.
