The scope of work involves: demolish the entirety of the existing canopy structure above the tops of existing columns, including but not limited to, the existing steel space frame, existing steel deck, existing roofing, existing fascia, and existing utilities. Several existing truss members near the existing northwesternmost column are compromised, placing the existing steel space truss at risk of collapse at this location. The existing space truss exhibits an average of between 40% and 60% section loss of the members at the bottom chord connections throughout the entirety of the existing structure. Some existing members exhibit up to 100% section loss.
