The City of San Antonio’s Capital DeliveryDepartment is soliciting proposals for the complete renovation of Main Plaza indowntown San Antonio. Work includes demolition; site grading and paving toimprove Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility; a new5,500-square-foot pavilion shade structure and open-air porch; a food andbeverage building; restroom renovations; concrete and stone paving, seat wallsand retaining walls; artificial turf, landscaping and irrigation; utilityupgrades; site lighting and audio/visual infrastructure; mounting structuresfor The Saga art installation at San Fernando Cathedral; and site furniture.Four additive alternates address off-site treerelocation, salvage and delivery of existing pavers,a new storage building annex and associated amenities, and technologyconnections to Municipal Plaza Building.
