Introduction
The Department of the Interior, United States Geological Survey (USGS), Pacific, Coastal, and Marine Science Center, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing ONE (1) Thermogravimetric Analyzer brand name or equal to the Perkins Elmer TGA 4000 System; technical specifications attached.

This RFI is issued under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals.
Responses should be concise, relevant, and directly address the specific qualifications and capabilities outlined in this notice and should avoid extraneous information unrelated to the stated requirements. Responses that do not follow these guidelines may not be reviewed.

RFI Information Requested
Vendors are requested to submit detailed information covering:
1. Brochure/technical specifications of offering meeting or exceeding salient characteristics.
2. Authorized resellers/manufacturers only.
3. Business size, UEI, and SAM registration status.
4. New unmodified items only, no used or refurbished.
